In the Rose Garden neighborhood of San Jose, the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum sits inside Rosicrucian Park in a building modeled on an ancient temple. The Rosicrucian Order runs it, and the galleries hold a large collection of Egyptian artifacts, including mummies and a walk-through replica of a rock-cut tomb. A planetarium shares the same grounds.
